Hello and Welcome!
The Albany Chapter meets the first Wednesday of each month, 7:00 p.m., at the Senior Citizens Center,
489 Water Avenue NW, in Albany. The monthly meeting usually features a guest speaker, update on projects and fishing derby's and concludes with a raffle drawing. There is no scheduled meeting in the month of July and in August we hold our yearly picnic at a local park where we hold a casting contest. Weekly Fish Trap & Recycling during SummerEach September chapter volunteers assist the staff of the South Santiam Hatchery spawning hundreds of Spring Chinook which are expected to return in 3-5 years. Fishing Derbies! Keeping with the tradition of being fishing enthhusiasts each Spring and Winter the chapter hosts a fishing derby open to all active members. Shown here chapter members Bill Nyara (L) Don Wenzel (R) proudly display a couple nice fish. You can also participate in:
