North Coast Chapter

Hello and Welcome!
The North Fork Nehalem Chapter changed its name in June 2007 to the North Coast Chapter to better reflect the area is now serves. It meets at 7 pm the second Thursday of the month at the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife Tillamook office, 4907 3rd Street, Tillamook, OR (just east of the fair grounds). The chapter holds a picnic in July and there's no meeting in August. For more information please contact us or stop by and visit us at our regular chapter meetings.

Chapter meetings usually features a guest speaker, update on projects and fishing derby's and concludes with a door prize drawing. Like all chapters families, and especially kids, are welcome to join in the fun. Come on down and drop on in - maybe you'll win a new rod, reel or that hot lure!

Paying Special Tribute
On Thursday, December 28, 2006 the North Fork Nehalem Chapter and sportsmen from all over lost both a friend, an icon and their chapter president.

In an unfortunate accident Jim Erickson's raft hit a newly fallen tree in the river and flipped throwing himself and his passenger into the frigid waters. Jim's passenger made it to safety and the river took Jim.
