Tom McCall

Formed in 1980 and named in honor of Oregon’s late governor, who was a conservationist and fishing enthusiast.

"If the salmon and steelhead are running, then as far as I am concerned, God knows that all is well in His world. . .the  health of the environment is good if the salmon and steelhead are around. It is that simple."

Tom McCall

The Tom McCall Chapter meets monthly (except August) at The Old Spaghetti Factory, 0715 SW Bancroft Street, Portland, Oregon 97201. All meetings are from 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. (the only chapter with lunch meetings), except the December meeting, which is in the evening. Check the events calendar in the Thursday sports section of The Oregonian newspaper for meeting dates and topics. Visitors are welcome!

Past chapter presidents include Scott Kappes, Gary Whelan, Tom Shipley, Gary Benson, Dennis VavRosky, Marti Quinn, Jim Atwood, Dr. Denis Avery, Donn DeBernardi, Joe Williams and Dick McLaughlin.
